Our first speaker at the Product Design Meetup #7 will be Santa Paegle - Account Executive and UX architect at UXDA | Financial UX Design. Santa is passionate about innovation in financial services. Has 10 years of combined experience working in UX, Startup and community management, sales and customer service. Outside of work - travel hacker (visited 50+ countries) and a beginner stand up comedian.

Topic: “Design sprints are cool, but UX is a marathon. This is how you win”
Key topic outlines:
1. Differences between short-term and long-term UX Why a sprint-oriented approach to digital product design is not enough.
2. Move UX to the core of the business strategy Benefits of widening focus, rooting UX into business strategy, and treating UX/CX as a long-term discipline.
3. Shifting perspective: Case studies Examples from UXDA’s experience in the financial industry, where a shift to long-term UX has made a massive impact on product and business success.

Second speaker at the Product Design Meetup #7 will be Natalia Filvarova a neuroscientist & UX researcher, currently at Google working on digital identity systems. She has previously led research efforts in brain imaging and understanding multisensory processing, as well as designing food for space flight and building Alzheimer’s sensory diagnostic tools.
Natalia has previously built startups, as well as founded education & communication non-profits. She is an Oxford and LMU neuroscience graduate, as well as an MBA holder, a TEDx speaker and an advocate for accessible and inclusive design and workplace practices.
