Meeting my girlfriend for the first time - A wonderful lady in VIETNAM!

I traveled to Vietnam to meet her for the first time. I hope you enjoy this short video of my journey and our special greeting at the Saigon airport. Sometimes there are great surprises in life, and I am truly thankful for this wonderful time of life.

I met her here in the US in 1982 in High School when I was 17....they recently arrived from Vietnam. 10th grade spoke little English but I was fortunate to help her in 3 classes I had with her. Friends for those 3 years. Closer in 12th grade. 41 odd years later still going strong. 🙂

Watching you guys just makes me remember about my story. My husband flighted around 20 hours from the U.S. to Vietnam to meet me for the first time after we had talked on messenger for 4 months. Your girlfriend is so beautiful with áo dài ( Vietnamese traditional dress). My husband stayed in Vietnam for 2 weeks and he went back Vietnam second time after 6 months. Now we have a 4 year old boy and I’m living in the U.S. so just share with you that let’s make your happiness become the true and believe on your heart.❤️

Sweet. Reminds me of when my person flew from the UK to visit me in the U.S after Covid. Four years we waited. I picked him up super late at 1am from the airport due to a delayed five hour flight. I packed him a bag full goodies- breakfast for the next day, got him snacks, made sure he got hot water, packed a bag full of water and electric water, medication, and lots of other stuff so he would have a comfortable stay at his hotel. I got him a bag like this every time he came to visit me. And I packed him snacks and would send him off with a love letter with my perfume sprayed on my letter and a lipstick kiss on the letter. I love that man to the deepest part of my soul and spirit.
