Ever since we first got Son of Cobra boards in our racks at Boardshop, they’ve always flown out the door and never come back. There’s just something about these boards… and it’s not just that they’re stunning. From the moment your toes hit the wax, you can tell they’re special.

So, let us introduce you to the Son of Cobra range…

The Round Twin – Awesome little performance twin. Not too curvy, not too straight, just right, to give you drive, hold and speed. But the real magic in this board is underneath… a deep double concave that has its deepest point in the concave closest to the rail line. This is clever. It elongates the apex of the double concave’s spine into a bell-shaped curve that gives more drive, more speed and more performance. This deep concave builds in additional tail rocker which gives the board excellent release into turns, this is a twinny that will go vertical.

The Classic Twin – A great addition to a quiver if you are looking for a different feel or are looking for a twin fin you can use as an everyday board. Capable in a range of conditions, the twin is a brilliant wave catcher when the surf is small and will also hold its own in sizeable surf. Check out our last post for more details on this board!

The Rocket Twin – Loves to draw long, sharp and fast curves. The double concave, low rails, channels and straight fish tail keep the board moving forward and hold tight during hard carving turns. We’ve just made a review of this board so make sure to head to the website and check it out.

The Cobra Killer – In collaboration with Lost Surfboards , the Cobra Killer is a perfect blend of two amazing boards. Predominantly formed around Paul’s unique and significant double concave bottom which was then blended into the outline, foil, rails and primary rocker of the tried and tested Lost Quiver Killer.

Actually the best twin then I ever rode is the Bushman flow model check it out in fact it's the best surfboard I ever rode easily replacing the Cymatic.
