The Atlas V is my favorite rocket. Awesome launch!

Some lovely shots of the SRB separation there. Said it before, the onboard and ground-based tracking cameras are worth every penny.

Those RD-180 engines have a rather unique sound on start-up. This launch, it appears that you can hear each engine start a fraction of a second apart. Also, it strikes me, that they sound a lot like the 'Hannibal 8' from 'The Great Race'

You are really stepping up your game! The never ending battle between SpaceX and ULA has gotten even more tense

@ulalaunch Congrats on your mission success. I like the upgraded graphics. HOWEVER - The scrolling information bar needs to disappear at T- 1:00 and remain hidden for the remainder of the broadcast. Thanks.

What happens to the first stage and those boosters ? What happens to the fairings ? What happens to the second stage after deploying the satellites ?

Get a NOAA-license to show more of the launch from the rocket-point-of-view! ;-)

I won't consider ula as a close competitor to spacex until they get serious about not dumping their stages in the ocean

Really cool to see, but it's going to be nice when ULA no longer needs to use Russian RD-180 engines. American rockets should have American engines.

This is why ULA is sometimes better than SpaceX, since they committed to their launch date and not deciding to scrub in the last minute, and this is coming from a SpaceX fan.

Leave it to NASA and the government to take half an hour for a 4 minute countdown. Probably went $800 million over budget as well.

Another great example of USA and Russian technological cooperation!
