Let's keep it simple...this isn't even a playlist specific thing. If anyone gives you ANY "boost" on your streams, followers, views, etc WITHOUT asking you that is a MAJOR red flag, not a "good deal" as a lot of think it is.

I'm not speaking on playlists as a whole...there's well-documented ways to get quality playlisting at this point. Preciate those who have come to and shared their experiences which led to an eye-opening convo late yesterday.

I've had streams go up on Spotify playlist without any contact to me n yea it's suspicious af, the only time it happens to me is when I use the distrokid Playlist wheel .. this go deep I think the middle man is tired of paying the small artists

That Wavr, ai playlist does that same thing and your right there is nothing an artist can do about random bot playlists adding your song for a teaser boost to try to get you to pay to be on lists longer to get more plays
