I'm also a chemical engineering graduate andddd damn it's hard. I was good in math and science but this is in another level. I also took this course because chemistry really appealed to me but I LOVE being a chemical engineer now.

I'm half way through chemE and let me tell you, it's a struggle. I love my mayor but God it makes me suffer sometimes, but honestly I wouldn't change it. it's a very interesting field where there's a lot of opportunity for innovation.

I'm a chemical engineering student and the fact that cheme graduate jobs are mostly in the middle of nowhere is my concern as well. But, if you think engineering is your radar, I would say that cheme is a great major for you because we literally learn about wide aspect of engineering🙂 goodluck yall!!

Recent chemE graduate here. ChemE isn't impossible to do well in, it just requires a substantial amount of work compared to other disciplines. As long as you network properly, put in enough hours, stay on track with deadlines you should be fine. Lastly, you'll realise very quickly that there's not much chemistry in it :D
