Undeniably one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Creedence Clearwater Revival has sold over 50 million albums worldwide since their formation in the 1960s, with their songs on consistent rotation on Classic Rock radio.

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Creedence Clearwater Revival, the legendary band’s first six albums were reissued by Fantasy Records as six individual expanded-edition CDs. The albums — Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bayou Country, Green River, Willy & the Poor Boys, Cosmo’s Factory and Pendulum,, all originally released from 1968-70 —have been remastered and contain B-sides and unreleased studio & live material.

Maybe one of the most lethal 1-2-3 punches in an album sequence with Bad Moon Rising - Lodi - Crosstie Walker

One of my first album purchases, along with the Beatle albums. Still have that the album, and Lodi is still 10 miles up the road.

Just about a year ago
I set out on the road
Seekin' my fame and fortune
Lookin' for a pot of gold
Things got bad and things got worse
I guess you will know the tune
Oh Lord, stuck in Lodi again

Rode in on the Greyhound
I'll be walkin' out if I go
I was just passin' through
Must be seven months or more
Ran out of time and money
Looks like they took my friends
Oh Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again

The man from the magazine
Said I was on my way
Somewhere I lost connections
I ran out of songs to play
I came into town, a one night stand
Looks like my plans fell through
Oh Lord, stuck in Lodi again

If I only had a dollar
For ev'ry song I've sung
Ev'ry time I've had to play
While people sat there drunk
You know, I'd catch the next train
Back to where I live
Oh Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again
Oh Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again

I'm sure every bar band that's ever played, has at some time "felt" these words:
If I only had a dollar
For ev'ry song I've sung
Ev'ry time I've had to play
While people sat there drunk

I wonder what the Chamber of Commerce in Lodi thinks about this. LOL

I know what I think about this. Wonderful song I can feel - having been stuck in my personal "Lodis" several times in life.

This song in this upload seems a little muted compared to other same versions from other uploads.
