Chris Jones is to the defense what Mahomes is to the offense.

Such a well spoken and likeable guy, unless your playing against him!

No wonder the Chiefs PAID him. A leader and a gentleman as well as a beast of a football player.

It's good to see Chris Jones getting some love. I thought it was a damn shame he wasn't one of the guys on the stage hoisting the Lombardi trophy after they won. The always want to interview the guys that score, but he's a bigger difference maker than most of them.

I love hearing Chris Jones talk. You see him on the playing field and he is a BEAST but when he speaks he sounds like he is a kind gentle giant of a man. GO

The Chiefs organization is top tier, after they hired Andy Reid they drafted Kelce, Tyreek, Mahome, and Chris Jones, all future HOF. Thats not luck.

One of the most impactful defensive players (if not THE most) of the last 5 seasons in the entire NFL.
He proved in SB LVIII that defense does indeed win championships, and he should’ve been SB MVP.

I have watched every snap of his NFL career and it still blows my mind how well he moves around. No one his size should be able to move like that

What a damn good answer at the end there

Amazingly, CJ was a 2nd round draft pick. Best defensive lineman in football by far.

Really respect this player for how he holds himself. Confident without comming off as an a-hole or arrogant. And often smiling and joking when you see him in clips with his defense group of players.

I really respect Chris Jones. He stated he wanted something like 20 sacks before beginning of the season. But instead of seeking his own glory, he goes for stops, he shares sacks, he stops the offense. He doesn't care about his record; he cares about the wins. Respect.

That mentality? That's the players, and that is coaching. Been a Chiefs fan for decades. We came close many times. I finally realized winning again and again is attitude. The current chiefs have the right coaches and the right players. Why has Andy Reid never been nominated for Coach of the Year since he came to the Chiefs? Travesty.

These Chiefs leaders are very level headed guys. And interviewers just have to keep pressing their high drama scenario noise. Meanwhile these young guys show maturity and poise.
