Jeffrey Sachs: Strategies for deep decarbonisation of the global energy system

Jeffrey D Sachs is a world-renowned professor of economics, a leader in sustainable development, senior UN advisor, bestselling author, and syndicated columnist whose monthly newspaper columns appear in more than 80 countries.

This lecture is presented by the Centre for Climate Economics and Policy at Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University, in partnership with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), the Monash Sustainability Institute at Monash University, and Canberra Urban and Regional Futures (CURF). It relates to Australia's contribution to the UN SDSN Deep Decarbonisation Pathways Project, led by ClimateWorks Australia and ANU.
