In this video we follow up on my last drafting guide and explore the basics of picks and bans, the role of each player in the pick order, the suggestions feature, and more.

Sorry this video took a loooot longer to make than I expected (like almost 60 hours just editing lmao), had the script written for it like 2 weeks ago but last weekend I went on a trip to San Francisco and then had really bad diarrhea for like a week when I got home 😓

Thank you feta water!

Massive yapping warning

I also thought the best strategy as the team with first pick was to ban the 2nd and 3rd best brawlers and try to get the 1st, but it’s not (Competitive advice, in lower ranks, you can get away with it)

That’s unreliable, like you said, and it turns into mind games. The thing is, no matter what you ban, you’ll get the most broken brawlers *available* and the enemy team either drafts the 2nd and 3rd most broken brawlers *available* or something entirely different. So there’s no point wasting bans in any of the 3, and leave that responsibility to the enemy team. Better bans are either

1- target bans: brawlers that directly counter the brawler/archetype you are going to first pick
2- common troublesome last picks, so the enemy has a smaller chance of getting a very strong last pick to equalize, like assassins or very commonly Darryl in this meta

This is safe, reliable and ensures you have a strong first pick no matter what, even allowing you to draft counterable brawlers early instead with no way for the enemies to expect it, since you can come up with different strategies by switching up the bans. Example draft

Penalty kick:
Fp bans - Lily, Mortis, Stu (Clear intentions of first picking a thrower)
Lp bans - Moe, Rico, Gale

Now you can decide which thrower is best according to meta and such, and if say Larry is banned, you go barley. The enemy doesn’t have a clear counter

In Frank/aggro meta it was also common to ban 3 anti tanks as first pick, if Frank was open go the *next* most broken anti tank so the enemy can’t pick it and now they have to defend against a potential Frank. If they don’t defend properly, pick it, if they do, draft normally and they’ve wasted 2 picks to prevent one brawler. If Frank was banned you could pick max or any other aggressive brawler taking advantage of anti tanks being banned and get 2 strong brawlers that synergize with it as 4th or 5th to consolidate your comp

I like that you style the Videos so that even new players who start from zero can also understand your Videos 💞❤️

7:45 may I note that in addition to these high dps brawlers, tick is also really good in big friend, since he has that quick healing star power, and with 11 000 hp and insane healing, he becomes pretty much invicible against low reload speed brawlers.

The fact that randoms won't play well when I suggest brawlers is something I learned the hard way. Where I'm at in diamond 3 (I have 12 level 9 brawlers) my opponents like to just spam pick tanks and assasins. So I used to recommend colt to my teammates, thinking they would open up the map and dps down the whole enemy team. Now I've learned that they whiff every shot and that I can count myself lucky if they even get super at all, or even crazier, aim it at a wall instead of trying to hit a full hp speed bibi

Also another thing I do to learn how to draft and use certain brawlers is watching pros play. They give you such good insights to how one that does it for money would do it.

8:03 not sure how relevant this is, but the damage tick actually give Clancy the same stage upgrade as a full attack, meaning you can get stage three in a matter of seconds when played well!

Great video😊. An in depth guide on in game macro skills such as positioning, pinching and applying pressure would be a godsend.
