The biggest mistake I made visiting the US for a month was travelling with a picky eater. You don't think of these things when you travel but if you're a foodie that eats and tries everything, take someone similar.

i hung out in chinatown about a week years ago. eating so much amazing food. all day everyday. gained 16lbs. incredibly nice people. best food experience ive ever had, still.

Thanks for posting something positive about my hometown! My favorite place to hang was Chinatown ❤ So vibrant and the best place to buy reasonably priced produce...always fresh!

I used to get wonton from this place years ago before I retired. I would take a trip this place at least 2-3 times a week. I loved the broth so much that I have asked them to separate it usually.
My most favorite was beef tendons over noodles. Soooo
Good. I usually ask to add the Chinese broccoli. Yummm 😋

In 1995 we were young and didn't realize there was a sf Chinatown. We basically went to the wharf, visited Sonoma for a day, , drove on Lombard Street a few times, and flew home.
