This is a great video for anyone that is working on any rear live axle RWD car. Been developing my 1960s Alfa Romeo with homemade mods and fitted a watts linkage on the rear axle and am now looking into anti squat and anti dive. Your explanations are awesome! Yup, for sure my stiffness varies depending on what hole it's in. That's why it's important to test drive components before you get married to a particular brand.

Love watching these videos. I got really excited when I got to meet Mike at PRI this year. We do a lot of suspension and performance tuning and he explains things in a way that makes sense.

I'm really curious to see how the electric power steering turns out. Those extended rear trailing arms seem like a massive improvement, but damn I really like the look of my full interior. Mike's really about to make me gut the rear of my car just so I can pull off one long drift out of turn 9 at laguna. Either way, loving the build, this is a lot of good insight about the 86 suspension kinematics, keep it up!

The only thing I would change for my needs. The majority of the time on the street with my kids. Would be poly ends. At least poly ends on the body side. Also, yes I am enjoying this content!!! Can’t wait to watch how you decide to reinforce the chassis! I’m taking notes over here!

Cool ass setup but kinda takes some of the fab fun out lol but I will definitely have to remember this Not sure if that power assist is the same company that was making them around 15 20 years ago but me and a buddy put one in a old Camero or firebird can't remember he had took the old power out to put a track steering set up in but realized it wasn't good for street use in slow driving I found a setup like that on line and it worked great dint have the adjustment but made it so much easier to drive when you have to go slow lol

Great video Mike, learning a lot every video, thanks! I have a 70's car that has unequal length 4link + a panhard bar. Your comments about the rear suspension helped me a lot to understand why I am getting wheel hop. I want to learn more about this, would you recommend something to read/watch about 4link rear suspensions?
