In the scene where Ryoji delivers the bad news to the team in this game. It doesn't feel like it has the same impact as it did in the original. There's honestly, no emotion behind it, or feels like there isn't any. Now, I get it that they completely re-casted everyone since it had been like 20 years since the original, but that scene was so well built up in such a short amount of time, and to hear all the raw emotion because of the friendship Ryoji had developed with them is what made it so sad. He didn't want this to happen and yet it is now inevitable since they were all deceived. Even the whole team doesn't feel as emotionally impacted as they did in the original. Horribly, terrified that they were going to die and become the Lost.
