Manual gears on the Civic are really good. You are missing that as one of the best features here. The boot is massive anyway, so that tiny lost space for the twin exhaust is negligible.. Drive it with the seat low and you have the feeling of a great sports hatch. Warm the car up to temperature (the gauge is clear) then give it some wellie and you will feel that turbo kick in. On top of that at high revs you have the Vtech... You can cruise up steep long hills in 6th, no problem. It has great cornering. As for the high spec, it’ll take a month of Sunday’s to learn everything this car can do.

yeah great video thanks guys - have to agree of Honda put some decent power behind the Civic RS; it would make for a very nice ride. We have two current model WRX's in the family and Subaru seems to have lost the plot with these cars. Yes they go well but serving every 6 moths is crazy and the audio system in the WRX is rubbish - if Honda would have tried to up the power a little the Civic may have given Subaru a run for their (performance) money....?? PS the new Civic looks great!!

The air con is mediocre and i have hell of dust problem (dealerships excuse is pathetic) but when buying new got $5, 000 off and a sports spoiler free then and still now luv it. Oh thumping stero.

Honda has skimped on safety with the RS and all models below. This is reason alone not to buy it. How could Honda do this with a completely new car. No one likes a CVT which is even worse with a small engine. The exterior design is ok but not great. I will keep my 2007 Honda Euro a bit longer.

It's not so much fun to buy this car when the battery goes flat you can't start it and no one knows how to start it it's pretty dumb isn't it

This hatch looks ungainly. Sedan looks better, much better.
