How Fast is my ARRMA GRANITE? Hobbywing MAX 10 SCT Speed Runs!

So today we take out the RC that got me back into the hobby after a 10 year break!

The Granite started life a mega 4x4 with a brushed motor. I soon changed this out after having the urge for more power and went for the Hobbywing MAX 10 SCT ESC & Motor Combo!

This was the RC that made me decide to make a channel it is also my daily basher and i have a lot of love for this thing.

Am running Proline Badlands on this and they arent really well suited to speed runs especially on this surface but they are great off road tyres in the dirt so before you tell me or ask me why i am running badlands on this surface i dont usually this is purely my bashing RC but it has been requested to see how fast it is!

This is my bashing machine i never do speed runs with this but it was requested so thought i'd do it to demonstrate was too wet to do it on grass which is why i opted for the road.

The speeds are not exactly record breaking for this reason as we are running stock gearing too.

Run 4s on this setup at your own risk! The motor is rated to 2-3s and you may damage your motor if you decide to run it past its parameters!

Hope you enjoyed the video! While I patiently wait for my WLTOYS 124019 i finally catch up on an old request. This was requested by a subscriber. Apologies for a couple of quiet spots with the audio I was unaware of some cable issues with the external mic but is all sorted now. As mentioned in the video be careful running 4s on this setup as the motor is not 4s rated. This is nowhere near a speed machine but its not the purpose of this truck. Making my granite 6s was the best thing I ever did...these guys that say you cant or it's not made for it, or stupid...dual 9000mah batteries and it rides like a dream....keeps it planted and it handles so much better

The Max 10 works out well in the Granite. 38 mph on 3s is excellent. It really came alive on 4s. Nice work man. 💯💯

My granite's are Hobbywing brushless and they run 38 mph on 3s as well yes I get 2 of whatever rc my wife loves the hobby too, great video

What is the gearing you put in it? I think you want a 20t pinion in it if that is possible and it will really wake it up even on 3s
