Played the tenor sax for this song for remembrance day in my high school band, and hearing it all together with every instrument made me realize how beautifully crafted this song is. We played this song along with Jay Ungar’s Ashokan Farewell that day. Sadly, the day got cut short due to an emergency, but every time we repeatedly played this song, I cried and cried. Beautiful
