I'm the middle child and I'm usually forgotten. For example, yesterday my mom went out for some food, she asked my siblings what they wanted. Then she came home later with only food for them, and I ate the leftovers. My older sibling always bonds with my parents the most, my little sister is spoiled, and I'm the one who gets all the punishments. I got grounded once because my sister made a mess all around the house. It's even worse when your the oldest daughter. You have to learn how to cook, clean and do other stuff you don't want to. I came home with an A on my test, and my sister got a C. They ignored me and praised my little sister. My parents try to avoid me, and once my mom told me to shut up and to go away because she was mad at me. Then when I got sad, I was sent to my room. My sister started screaming and cursing at my parents, and she got a whole new wardrobe. Sorry for ranting, but I just wanted to show how being stuck in the middle is the worse thing ever.

They forgot one of the most annoying things about being a middle child (I'm not a middle child but I know that it's annoying) whenever your older/younger brother/sister does something bad, the middle kid gets the blame. It's because parents are like "oh she's grown up she would never do that!" or "he's too young how could he do something like that?" but because you're in the middle, you are totally able to do something like that.

Being the middle child means being compared to your oldest sibling.
It also means being yelled at by your parents when you and your younger sibling do the exact same thing but you're 'older' so you should 'know better'.
