In terms of strict examination; speaking is honestly easier than writing. At least that’s why I experienced during my FCE and CPE.

For English and American people, Speaking is usually better than writing.
For non-English people, writing is easier than speaking. (Speaking might sound weird too)

Atleast this is the case for me, as a turk.

As a french person who talk a bit of English i think reading is the easier, then its writing, after speaking and finally listening ( the harder )🤣

Explaination!!!
Listening is drawn well = easy
Reading drawn mid=pretty easy
Writing drawn like a 5 year old=hard
Speaking… I don’t even need to explain

Listening you’ll generally have situational context. Reading you can take your time and think about it. Writing you have to worry about spelling, and tenses. Speaking you have to do it all on the fly. I’d say it’s pretty accurate for any language.

Mine:

Listening (im more and likely gonna forget anyway)

Writing (Just bc of my handwriting its terrible, looks like a kindergarter Writing)

Speaking (terrible due to my social anxiety/anxiety and stuff lol)

AND READING..(i suck so much, i stutter and everything, and i speed through so fast sometimes that i mess up. And if i take my time i take forever and still mess up😭)

Im fluent englisj(my first language) and honestlt i think writinf and saying natch eavhothwr as theres all the different (two/2, too, to) and (their, there, and another..) But also becausr you have to learn the difference and when to use them, pronunciation on some words are extremely easy but alot of words would be difficult to learn at first and still are!
