Campus Clash garnered attention from the left, right, and everyone in between. One student called Turning Point U.S.A.'s remarks "hate speech" that should not be protected under the First Amendment. The president of the organization, however, said that Campus Clash was meant to spark respectful, spirited discussion on issues that matter to everyone in the community. UCTV's Luke Hajdasz was there to get students' reactions and further details on the controversy of the event.
