Transformers Reactivate | USING UNREAL ENGINE 5 | Large Free Roam Maps

What's going on guys? RBG here bringing you another update on Transformers Reactivate. Its been relatively quiet in regards to official updates from the developers. But that hasn't stopped us from gathering more details on this highly anticipated project. Over the months we've seen more people within the gaming community start to grow interested in this game. Which is awesome because it shows that the game has a unique aesthetic and tone that appeals to a wider demographic outside of the Transformers fandom. It has a very dark vibe and it feels like something that perfectly balances the classic and modern tones that they Bayverse films fumbled later on down the line. Like I know its a bit too early to draw comparisons but it seems like the human characters are gonna be a bit more competent. Not to mention that its not gonna be this stupid thing where the humans are haunting down the Autobots while working alongside the Decepticons. They're actually gonna be working with both factions against the greatest threat they've ever faced. Developed by Splash Damage, Reactivate is the first major Transformers game to release since 2015's Transformers: Devastation. Unlike Devastation, Splash Damage's new game will have a co-op focus, with up to four players being able to team up as the Robots in Disguise to save humanity from a new threat called the Legion. A hiveminded nanomachine hoard that's consuming everything in sight.

Prior to its full reveal at The Game Awards 2022, leaks for a new, unannounced Transformers game now confirmed to be Transformers: Reactivate emerged online, including both cutscenes and concept art. Although these leaks hadn't been corroborated, if accurate, they did suggest a story involving Decepticons and Autobots uniting with remnant humans to defeat a nanomachine swarm - which was later confirmed to be The Legion seen in Reactivate's trailer. Both Cybertronian factions have been spread thin and decimated by this force, with Optimus Prime apparently missing in action. And apparently there are gonna be 2 versions of Optimus. A more prestine and classic version and a more damaged form with reinforced armor the looks more akin to his evasion mode from Age of Extinction. The combined leftovers of Cybertronians and humans are depicted in two leaked Transformers game cutscenes trying to find a way to counteract the corruptive ability of the Legion. So this game is being made with customization in mind. As is par for the course for most games these days, the reveal trailer didn't have any gameplay to show off, opting for a cinematic look at what we can expect from the title. The trailer gives us a first-person perspective of the one and only Bumblebee, with a bunch of humans working hard to repair him after he was seemingly taken down during some kind of robotic, alien invasion.

A highly realistic looking Transformers video game is pretty rare, but it’s one I’d like to see first.

i just hope we keep the idea of making our own character, that would make the game's community to grow bigger as custom transformers has been a thing fans wanted on games since the old days after cybertron games

I’m just saying with open world it would feel like a missed opportunity to not be able to swing around as Optimus Primal or lumber through city ruins in T-Rex mode as Grimlock!

I'm kind of excited to see this new transformers game in see how it is and how it performs. However, I'm extremely worried that the gaming company is going to be greedy and make a terrible game. All of Us transformers fans don't ask for much but all we ask for is to make great games and great movies. But until we are able to see gameplay and how the game runs I am still going to be a little skeptical.

I hope they can allow us to use all skins from G1 all the way up to The Last Knight models/ skins. Even tho it’ll be a lot of work but the harder they work and the more they add to this game the better it’ll be.

Imagine if there was a transformers game where you could create one of your own, create your own weapon load outs and choose a vehicle to be able to transform into, along with a colour scheme. That would be so good. But I gotta say I’m hyped for this game. I wonder when it will release.

I really hope it is open world because it would be cool if we could be exploring the world getting into small fights and you suddenly get an emergency call that a nearby city is under attack and you and your friends roll in fighting to defend the city and they could introduce a reputation system where the more cities you save you unlock more weapons and upgrades and you get to use that city as a base until it is under attack again but if you let the city get destroyed you lose access to those weapons and all nearby cities will no longer be available until you regain their trust

I'm excited that's it's going to be using UE5. But that makes me think it's going to be new gen only. As a last gen player myself I really hope it's for both last and new gen consoles.

I kinda think they're gonna put a lil bit of a sneak on the game in theaters. Like you finish Transformers: Rise of the Beast, and as a possible end credit scene, a little trailer for the game.

bro the new movie got some exoskeleton human suit that helps humans fight with transformers in a iron man like suit wondering if this gets added in the game since the trailer shows some mechanical parts on the humans helping bumble bee

I just wish we could have kept the cybertron games. Sure, there isn't much to be explored, but it just felt right.
