As per the latest news on Times Now, The SC has now granted bail to Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair and said, 'we ordered the petitioner to be released on interim bail in each of the FIRs.'
"The UP police is quite clear about the manner in which they are approaching the case. Although we do not have a formal reaction from UP Govt we do know through our sources that UP police will not see it as an exoneration of sorts.", said Amir Haque.
Meanwhile, Ashwini Upadhyaya, BJP leader said," We have learned that Zubair used to get funding worth crores for spreading hate speech from both inside and outside the country. He receives funding for spreading communal disharmony in the country through social media. Today Supreme Court has granted him bail. All his proceedings got transferred to Delhi and bail has also been granted. Does the law really prevail in the country?"
