Rachel Reeves, Britain’s first female chancellor, delivered Labour’s budget yesterday to the nation. While this may be a first for the history books, it’s certainly not for the modern day household as stats show 51% of women lead the way on the domestic monthly budget compared with 41% of men. So, who keeps hold of the purse strings in our panel’s homes?

Sadly I’ve never met a guy good with finances, I have however met a lot that I’ve had to support friends and partners, a lot of simple ways they could save money they just choose not to and it baffles me! I’ve always been good at saving since I was very young, as an adult I only ever got in debt once when I was having money troubles, my bills are always paid in advance. I buy second hand when I can, i always try and get the best price on my bills and get money back where possible.
