Hey, new subscriber here. I love granny squares and was wanting a few new patterns to make, thank you for sharing these! I love bandanas too! Easier projects since I have 3 younger children so I feel more productive

I am granny square crazy these days and just completed my best project yet, a granny square cardigan. I made it up as I went along using the basic laid out shape of a cardigan to figure out how many squares to make. I made it with paintbox cotton dk so it’s super soft and huge and cozy and I am so proud of it. Unfortunately I live in the desert so I have a few short weeks of the year where I will be able to wear it. lol

I’m also working on a few granny square bags that I’m making up as I go along, one tote and one small cross body bag.

Granny squares make it tremendously easy to just make up the pattern as you go, which I love.

I love granny square projects for summer as the granny square part is often itty bitty and can be made easily while traveling or at least not cover you in a layer of material while it’s 95°F+ out. You made a great list! I’m definitely adding some projects over to my own list for later~

I opened up the first one on my laptop and yes the English version is there, that word gilet is pronounced kind of like a cross between jill and schill, so "jill ay or schill ay" here in Ireland, hope this helps. Happy Saturday!
