'Amazing, Unforgettable Experience,' 2015 Winner Ryan on the 2020 Breakthrough Junior Challenge

The Breakthrough Junior Challenge aims to bring big ideas in life sciences, physics and math to people all over the world, with a 3-minute YouTube video. If you are 13-18, choose a concept or theory in mathematics, life sciences, or fundamental physics that’s important to understand but challenging to explain. This year, you also have the option of educating the world about the COVID-19 pandemic by sharing some of the science or math behind its causes, impacts and potential solutions. Create a short video (no more than 3 minutes) to get the idea across in an engaging, illuminating, and imaginative way.
