Herpa has lost the plot!!! Herpa Wings Open Days Digital Instagram Livestream reaction/summary!

Herpa held a Instagram livestream where they answered many questions from the community regarding various Herpa Wings related topics including many possible new Wings releases. Here is a summery/reaction of the stream.

List of models and other products mentioned in the stream and short summary of the answers given by Herpa:

ATR72 currently working on 2 models (probably Windrose and SAS) and Binter ATR confirmed will definitely come

Condor models with the new livery. Models confirmed but will be released one by one over the next 2-4 years

Condor 757-300 in new livery, not unlikely but not the first model

Avelo 737, not unlikely but to early to tell

Eurowings Discorver A330, should be ready. Delivery expected August/September

Flyr 737-800, trying to get contact with airline

Uganda Airlines A330NEO model should be finished, logistics issue. Delivery expected August/September

C130J are planing it for scale 500 with re-fuleing equipment

SAS models, 737-700 in production atm, more models planed for future, CRJ900 mentioned and confirmed

Norwegian models, waiting to see fleet development of the airline

Boeing 737MAX9, delays due to licensing

TUI D-ABKN no comment to specific model

TUI models in general, m ore to come in future

A380 gates, is on their list

Sky Train, tooling was checked and can be used. Possibility for the future

TAAG 777, not denied but no plans at the moment

A320NEO Eurowings, will come

Turkish Airlines, bio fule livery confirmed

Sun Express, special liveries no due to licensing

New AWACS models in planning, US, UK and French Air Force mentioned, check my Herpa news video for more info

Fedex, no news

Corendon 737 Hull City livery, probably not, perhaps standard livery, Nuremberg livery mentioned as something they would like to do

Iran Air Tour, perhaps for the future

Turkish Government 747-8, very likely

Turkish Cargo, not first priority but should come sometime in the future

DHL, Pride livery. Special liveries difficult because DHL prefers standard livery

Sundair A320, no news

Belair A320 in Air Berlin livery, one day perhaps

Lufthansa 747-100, “nice idea”

80’s, 90’s, 00’s models, more in future planned

Croatia A320, will wait and see how the demand for the A319 is and then decide afterwards

Brussels, good contact. For the moment however no concert plans for retail models but sounded like models for onboard sales are in the making

Azerbaijan models, perhaps

Mahan Airlines, perhaps

Gulf Air, yes but before 2023

Salam Air, no

Air Tamil, no, did not know airline

Swiss re-release B777-300, no plans but sometime in the future

Lufthansa Lovebus, yes

Thai Air Asia standard livery, more Air Asia Group will come in the future

Canadair CL-415, in talks with rights holders

Air India, should be something for the future

Re-release Delta Air Lines Lockheed L-1011, no at the moment

More models of DC-8, 727, MD, more likely is the 727

Any airlines from South Africa, at the moment nothing in planning

Scale 500 models without landing gear or inflight configuration, not very popular and therefore nothing planned

Re-release of Airport Starter Set, no plans for now

Spirt Airlines A319, should be available by September/October

United 757 special liveries, not possible due to rights issue

Hapag Lloyd or Swiss A310, maybe sometime in the future

Ethiopian 737MAX, not working on it atm

Kenya 737-800, not working on it atm

Air Senegal A330NEO, will come someday

Latin American Airlines, more to come for all of Central and South America (Maybe already by September/October but more likely from 2023)

Neos 737MAX8, perhaps. 787 didn’t sell well so hesitant

Iberia Regional CRJ-1000, Herpa will not make any CRJ-1000 models

Tarom 738/ATR more romanian airlines to be featured. Blue Air mentioned but nothing before 2023

Caledonian Tristar, not likely

Qatar Airways World Cup liveries, perhaps

Edelweiss special livery, in contact with the airline

Freebird, new contact but to early to tell

Germanwings, yes

C-130 Luftwaffe, yes for the J version

EasyJet, Ryanair, Wizzair, no news

Re-release Etihad Greenliner, no but more Etihad to come

Austrian Airlines A320, Austrian will be featured more and already by September/October

Regional airline types, lower priority but will come every now and then

ANA 787 Star Wars, in contact with Disney but unlikely due to expensive licensing

British Airways, 757 Landor. More BA in planning but Landor will also be featured in future but no timeline

Vielen Dank für das Video habe den Stream leider verpasst. Die a380 Gates vom Lax ist ein normales Gate nur halt dass ein weiterer Gangway etwas höher am Vorsprung plaziert ist. Außerdem ist das aus Papier. Ich denke nicht dass die Leute so etwas kaufen würden. Die Antwort auf die Lh 789 Frage weiß ist weiß ist ja mal komplett lost. Typisch herpa halt.

Herpa it's very simple really, fix your QC and make the following models if possible:

Asian based airlines: ANA, JAL, Cathay, Air India, Korean etc

Cargo based: FedEx (B777), DHL (B777), SF, etc

Americas: Southwest (duh), Spirit, Copa, Latam etc

Other: African, Australian (not just Qantas ) etc

Every release we get a bunch of Lufthansas and/or European models; been there, done that. Literally, Asia is the hugest market on earth by far and I can't tell you the last time we had an exciting Asian release . Cebu ?? No one cares about Cebu sorry. Get it together Herpa.
