Love it that 75 year-old Antoinette Sibley gives Hamilton a correction in 4:28 and looks more sensual than the young dancer who is probably 50 years younger. Teachers are incredible to watch.

Matthew Golding didn't want that kiss to end! I wouldn't have wanted it to end, if someone was kissing me like that. This is one of the most beautiful pas de deux ever...the music is so passionate, but with a definite undercurrent of sadness that foreshadows the tragedy ahead.

I can't believe I am watching Sibley and Dowell coach. I have loved them for 60 years. Melissa is doing a wonderful job. The man too. I'm so glad this is on film. Thank you for this enormous treat. MacMillan is unbelievable.

I just can't watch this clip without blushing with the dancers and coaches. At the same time, it is absolutely the most beautiful pas de deux of all, matched of course by the final pdd from this same ballet. MacMillan simply choreographed passion effortlessly.

This is an immense privilege and joy for me to see this beautiful rehearsal of two superb young dancers being rehearsed by Anthony Dowell and Antoinette Sibley .
I was in Theatrical Digs with both of them in the summer of 1962 when Anthony must have been 19yrs he always came down to breakfast in a beautiful dressing gown, was charming and witty good company . We didn't see much of Antoinette who spent most nights away with her boyfriend, we understood to be a handsome young airline pilot .
I am thrilled to see them again, alive and well, rehearsing young dancers . I have a recording of Anthony Dowell dancing this pas de deux with Jenifer Penney so beautifully, I believe unmatched by any other dancers, Anthony danced with such freshness of youth and passion, a fluid rhythm that completely expressed the mood .

I always think the Character of Manon is so moving as she goes through during the ballet many differing moments and her personality alters as she gains confidence She is flattered by the attention she gets- but dosent realize she is being used for their pleasure But like a lot of the opera heroines it all ends in tears

There's just something about MacMillan's choreography that compels one to dance full out. You can see the dancers just being swept along by the music, and the choreography. Beautiful.
