I’m from Texas and no, I’ve never known there were Danish names lol. We use the Greenlandic names here, I was always taught the capital was “Nuuk” but it’s interesting to learn that there were Danish names for these towns.

In school back a very long time ago before most people were born, we were taught that Greenland was a territory of Denmark that nobody cared about because it was a deserted sheet of solid ice.
