We are not talking about millions of people, we are talking about the vast majority that are having their view of the world turned upside down and they don't have a clue as to why and do not see any of it working in their personal interests. Meanwhile, as the people's attention is diverted long accepted liberties are savagely eroded, never to return, while our corporate elites make off with the rich spoils. No change there then, however, the pace at which this is taking place is absolutely astounding.

I thought elite meant the best of the best.. this current lot may be the most moron, burke, twerp etc but that does not warrant or suit the word elite
but as a guess.. it was probably they themselves who labelled themselves as "elite"

We need a list of who these elite are then they need thanking properly.

Generally, as has always been the case, we need our educated middle class to uphold values, promote education, and to man the important professions for us. However, they have been badly squeezed in recent years. They resented the country's rejection of their obsession with being ruled by the EU and the fact that the oiks won the day. That was a dreadful shock to them. Further, new technology, first the internet and now AI, means that many of their go-to professions will become almost redundant, one imagines - especially law and accountancy. Universities have been heavily infiltrated by the hard left, and our young people have been taught to loathe themselves and their country - mostly based on false history and ignorance.
