Colin Cowherd is joined by '3 & Out' Host John Middlekauff to react to Week 7 in the NFL. Colin & John start with the Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs & San Francisco 49ers. The Detroit Lions beat the Minnesota Vikings in a battle for the NFC North. Is Jared Goff the best QB in the NFC? Saquon Barkley led the Eagles to a win against his former team, the New York Giants. Jordan Love and the Packers beat C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans but why is Colin worried about Jordan Love going forward? College football had some great games as well. Colin gives takes on Georgia-Texas & USC losing to Maryland.

32:02 wrong. the unsung hero of the lions turnaround is sheila ford hamp. took over for her mother in 2021 her first move as owner is to fire matt patricia and then she hired a ton of smart football people to run the football side of the team. those people hired campbell and holmes and the rest is history shes a terrific owner shes done literally everything right. She cares a ton about the team but knows she isnt a football genius so she lets others make the important decisions. and then financially shes willing to spend she desperately wants a winner. Detroit has some of the best ownership in the NFL.

49ers fans here is your issue: NFL Research: The 49ers are now 0-40 when trailing by 8+ points at any point in the fourth quarter under Kyle Shanahan (including playoffs) -- they are the only team without a win in that scenario in that span.

RIP Deshaun, the real Deshaun Watson died on those massage tables in Houston

Colin is right about this Chiefs team and their comparison to those 90s Bulls teams

Andy Reid is like Phil Jackson - calm and stoic on the sideline and trusts his players to inevitably win the game

Ben Johnson isn't afraid to be a head coach. He's young and knows that there are 32 head coaches every year...but being the 1st OC to help the Detroit Lions win their FIRST Super Bowl ever...well he'll go down in history

Goff over the last 3 game has over a 150 rating. Thats never been done since 1970. MVP

Ben Johnson probably isn’t scared to be a head coach. But he saw a team at is absolute worst (with Patricia) and now sees that same team at its best (under Campbell/Holmes/Sheila), he loves it here now and the situation will need to be a dream scenario for him to leave. Plus we pay him well…

Can we all admit that TB12 is great in the booth when he's 'into' the game vs watching scrubs?

Yes, Reid and Mahomes can make lemonade out of lemons. Then add in that defense with Spags, and they are unstoppable!

Chiefs have 29 fresh plays every week that the players are psyched to try.

Brock is very good with weapons. He’s just decent with no weapons. Deebo & Aiyuk are already overpaid. CMC is amazing but rarely healthy. Kittle is still above average, but let’s not kid ourselves, he’s getting old. This Niners team window has about closed.

Maybe Ben Johnson loves being an OC and doesn’t want all the bs that comes with having to be a head coach

Have to love how honest and real Mahomes is. No excuses, no diva attitude, totally admits when he isn't playing his best, yet finds a way to pull off these heroic wins on the reg. His lack of belief that he's great makes him great.

About time Colin is putting some respect on the Lions!

Jordan Love has played TWO less games than every other qb because he was hurt. He leads the league in touchdowns and interceptions. Wild.

Mahomes is missing his main weapons, and they've made Hunt look like a top 10 rb again after being on his couch a few weeks ago. They just play smart, winning, complimentary football in all 3 phases. They don't ask their players to do anything they aren't good at, and Andy Reid is the by far the best coach in the league. Its almost like he's 3 steps ahead of everyone else, and as long as they have Mahomes, they're the team to beat.

You have the four best (not player) personalities in the game. This is the line up Sunday nights. Colin can moderate.

This will put you over the top (already are lol)

But plz nothing would be better

“Mahomes is not going to give you a chance to intercept the ball.”

That’s funny, he has 8 on the year.
