I'm just getting into JD with the 2023 edition and I'm a bit miffed to see that JD+ is (currently) missing a bunch of songs from Unlimited that I was looking forward to playing. Bit of a weird choice there Ubisoft to launch a new thing that is lacking lots of stuff from the old thing that it's replacing! 😆

They announced the first update but 4 songs in total, is definetly very weak (at least we get Bangarang and No Tears Left To Cry), but I do hope that we will get more songs fast

It seems odd that they would not have just made it the same subscription and you could access both unlimited and plus with the same payment. Would have removed the problem with plus having less content and would have boosted 22+23 sales...

Thanks for making this video!! I’m a big just dance fan and even though I don’t play it as often as I use to. I do love to dance and play this game now and then to give my body the fitness it needs, while also having fun. Knowing about the this new subscription service lets me know about the songs they would be releasing in the upcoming months so I don’t get bored and keep playing the same songs over and over especially when I know the choreography.

I’ll still get just dance 2023 so that I can Add it to my collection but as far as I know I’ll most likely keep using JD2022 to play some of the songs that aren’t in JD+ but rather in ‘unlimited’

JD2022 still has way better value now. It's frequently on sale, but even at its 59, 99$CAD regular price, you add in an Unlimited cost of 29, 99$CAD annually and you get 728 songs for 90$. Compare that to JD2023 where you pay more (79, 99$CAD) plus the + cost of 29, 99$ for a grand total of 110$ for less than 200 songs... I see absolutely no point in buying this unless you absolutely cannot wait to dance to JD23 choreos...

As of now JDU is better in my opinion! I'm probably not going to use JDPlus until all the songs are back

Although I bought jd23, I will renew JD22 because it has more songs and I can create my playlists and dance in sweat and random mode, which is what I like and neither JD23 nor JD+ allow. I'll wait as many years as it takes until JD is JD Unlimited again (more songs and playlists).

Im relly annoyed at just dance this year . Yes I like the new style but now we can’t make profiles or playlist and no sweat mode. And there’s was relly no reason to make just dance plus just keep unlimited with all the songs we love. Also we used fo get rewards when we got a new game sayinf we found save data from a old game and you could save or old avatar and get a special name tag. This year they dident do that. Overall I’m still useing unlimited I just wish they had all of the unlimited songs AND ABBA

I don't have a subscription to JDU rigjt now but I had it and loved the old JD wii songs! So much nostalgia and they are easier too which is nice for someone as uncoordinated as me. It's a bit too expensive to pay for an annual subscription tbh but I occasionally buy a month (like once or twice a year?) when I dance a lot

I just bought Unlimited for JD 2022 today. And just learned about Plus today as well.

At first I was like ‘Oh no… did I just buy Unlimited for another year when they’re gotta shut it down in a few months or something and replace it?’

But I hope that is not the case if they supported JD games from as old as 2016 until now. So hopefully Plus will just slowly be replacing it, that only the new games come with Plus instead until they released so many new ones with it that they deem the old ones (with Unlimited) ‘too old’.

It does suck though that eventually it’ll just end and I’ll end up having a JD game with base songs that I mostly dislike. I really couldn’t wait for JD 2023 to come out at the time, because then I had to wait for another year. Turns out (from what I’ve seen) JD 2023 has a lot of songs I like, so I kinda hate myself for not waiting another year and not really thinking about the whole ‘when support for Unlimited ends, do you still like what you have in the base game?’

After playing both 2022 and 2023, the only bummer with 2022 is it doesn’t have the new BTS songs and they were SO FUN. What sucks is I can’t even play it at home because I only have an Xbox one and want to put off upgrading for a while.
