100% OTs are underpaid. Found out from senior OTs that Hospitals NEED OTS, they dont know why but they NEED em always. Not to mention they know the whole body as well and do MENTAL health. At one hospital my friend is an OT making more than PTs because hospitals bill more for OTs but def OTs are underpaid

Great video and informative, I’ve been speaking with a few schools in narrowing down to BS in Exercise Science with an emphasis on sports performance where it seems it can open doors to occupational therapy but I also saw there’s a program in another school that can get me from BS-Doctoral in occupational therapy .

I like the thoroughness this BS in Science with emphasis on sports performance offers and I saw some schools I can transfer to MS but I wonder if that’s delaying instead of maybe going BS- Doctorate in OT.

I wonder what are your thoughts ?

I’m still searching a few schools, I do know I want to dive into the field of OT but I guess I wants BS in Science that can still potentially open the career field even aside from OT if that makes sense
