I drove it today to get to a job I had to do, there is absolutely no cell phone service for the whole 10 miles. Absolutely scary because if something happens you can’t call for help/ assistance. I was just praying I got to the end without any issues .

Used to frequent this spot every weekend and still occasionally do once or twice a year for fishing. Over the years, it was a weird, but tranquil spot to go party in the woods at night, and being I was the only one in this group who knows the entire “Watershed” layout, I sort of became the main organizer of these trips throughout high school, college, and my first 2 jobs held during that time. Initially we all laughed off the rumors and stories, especially being that I had years of fishing experience there, but *only* during daylight hours. Upon consistently chilling w/ plenty of groups of friends I’ve had over the years, I’ve witnessed one of the girls I’ve gone to school w/ for years mysteriously go offtrack from the group and down the wrong lane exit of RT-23, leading to her death when we were both just 17 w/ newly acquired driver’s licenses at the time. Other than that, it took months of confidence to overcome the frequent “ghost tailgater, ” who may or may not be associated w/ white supremacist groups or even otherwordly. Reasoning for that is the fact that it only showed up, w/ minorities in car, and eventually we got spooked out by bumping heads w/ a secret Klan rally, along w/ noticing plenty of local residents all leaving their properties on foot to meet in woods, while in full Klan gear. I even had a close call making an emergency U-turn in a driveway after bugging out from the “tailgate lights, ” only to see the “Grand Dragon” of the Klan open the door in full uniform, minus the mask. It was only me and my late best friend, who was a heavy-set black guy who we called The Fresh Prince of NJ, due to him moving from South Central, LA to Bergen County w/ his millionaire, entrepeneur aunt and uncle. Seen skull remnants of ritualistic sacrifices including a goat skull that I angrilly scolded a first time visitor, friend for wandering off and foolishly picking up as if he wanted to bring it home to show his recently immigrated parents at home!! Lol Last but not least, the ghost boy under the bridge is *VERY* real, however, I noticed that it tends to appear when skeptical large groups turn their backs to walk away in laughing disbelief, only for the remaining few who still had their eyes on the water to see quick flashes or what appears to be waving gestures from under the bridge itself after pennies or coins are thrown into it. Like I said, the place got to a point where it started to transform from my fav weekend fishing trip day and/or spot to chill w/ friends at night, into a weird vibe feeling place, where reguardless of time or location, it always felt like nobody was ever alone anywhere. However, the fishing at all those lakes in the area is so phenomenal, that I still do make the effort to still hit the spots up a few times annually. My last ever trip there, was in spring/summer of 2021, where for some reason (and the only instance in my life, to date, ) I felt the onset of some kind of weird fatigue that made me almost pass out, along w/ high anxiety and nervousness, followed by a near fatal car accident a week or two later that has kept me out of commision since. I still think I might go again this year tho, because at the end of the day, a trophy bass, is a trophy bass!! 😂
