The parents of that child suffering from tetanus, are the most ignorant people in this world. Why not vaccinate their son??? Why not??? A religion issues or something else??? The fact that this individual was in pain being so rigidly, is appalling.

My gosh, the ignorance in this world still shows.

I'm in my 70s now and I remember when people died from catching sickness that we can prevent. I have seen my friend her Aunt died from blood poison 💔 it was so horrible 💔.

It’s impossible for anyone to comprehend with how he must feel after 27years. Imagine how difficult it would be to adapt to a completely changed world. God Bless him.😔

I have seen a patient with tetanus before . That posture is called "Opisthotonus". It's not a good scene and its indeed painful.

Tetanus can be prevented with antibiotics also...so it's not just a lack of vaccines. It's a lack of taking them to the doctor and getting meds.

Tetanus was common in Civil War soldiers. They picked it up in pastures where animals were kept.

This is why we should ALL have tetanus shots especially if we've had a wound, no matter how small from something dirty. Needs to be cleaned immediately, then a tetanus shot if your last one was more than 5 years ago.
Includes dog bites too, especially puncture wounds as they can't be cleaned as well as superficial wounds

Seeing Gary in here is awesome. I love seeing people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndome being shown with their condition highlighted.

Making money off of it is awesome for him, because the condition can be a nightmare. It is a defect in the collagen of the body. As collagen that makes up about 80% of our bodies, it literally affects every single system in our bodies. Most people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome experience joint dislocations or partial dislocations, called subluxations on a recurrent and frequent basis.

Speaking from personal experience - I have moderate to severe EDS, and I average 20 to 40 subluxations per day. That’s not including a flare of my EDS, which can bring that much, much higher.

So, props to Gary for living his best life and making the best of his EDS. I’m betting that he pays for his public demonstrations privately.

JFC! 27 YEARS!!! This is just heart crushingly sad, and how many more just like this man are there still. Imagine the trauma of being isolated for that long and then walking out, into a world he has only ever seen in photographs and 📺, I can’t.
