I heard this song by accident on Sirius radio years ago, on the Roadhouse station where they play classic country. I was just going through and I just landed on it and was immediately captured by the lyrics and the soul in his voice. He's very underrated in my eyes and so is this song in particular.

Best Country song in history, in my opinion. I love "He Stopped Loving Her Today", but this to me, is the epitome of the genre.
