Ok I got this error today, I clicked on Yes at the time because I didn't know what the error meant. After clicking on yes, I restarted my laptop, it shut down but didn't restart. I held the power button down to force shut down, but the light on the power button is still on. Whenever I click on the power button again all I can see is the mouse pointer. Nothing else, the Dell logo doesn't come up, just the mouse pointer is seen with a black screen. Please help me out.

I have a Seagate external hard drive and I did this process, I can't find the recycle bin on this hard drive, and I keep getting this message. What happens if you empty the recycle bin? Does it delete everything on the hard drive? This process did not help me.
