Did I get it right? I’m kinda skeptical on A and B but I think I got it right.

Soo, I see a lot of people saying the xb30 sucks, and I understand why: It’s because Sony didn’t tune it properly. If you tune it in the app it will sound as good as the other speakers if not better. And now a lot of people are thinking “Why can’t Sony just tune it properly? They suck” and yeah, it’s very strange why they didn’t tune it properly, but it only cost 1/3 of the JBL Charge 4 price (in my country, I think it is 1/2 in USA) and the charge 4 comes tuned. I would rather pay 1/3 of the charge 4 but have to tune the xb30 myself than having to spit up a couple hundred bucks just to get it tuned. I have both the xb30 and charge 3 and the charge 4 should be arriving soon and then I will find out if there is any insane difference myself.

Thanks Willington, great test. Just wanted to point out that Sony XB30 does not sound it's best in this test because Extra Bass only sounds good once you get to about 70% volume. At lower than 70% volumes XB30 sounds better with Extra Bass off. XB30 needs a bit of fiddling with the app settings to get it just right, but when you do, it is the best sounding out of these 4, and the loudest. So if you don't like to tinker to get the best sound, XB30 is not for you. But if you want the best sound (in this size class) and are prepared to work a bit to get there, it is easily the best bang for buck Bluetooth speaker you can buy.

B is pretty good too, almost the same to A
C is a total mess; No deep bass, muffled highs and a bad sound dispersion.
D plays clean too, but lacks a bit of this „kick“ in the bass

I think A is Charge 4, B Sony xb30, C UE of course and D Charge 3

A: JBL Charge 4. Sounds like a refined, clearer sounding version of the Charge 3.
B: JBL Charge 3. Sounds better with highs, as do most of the JBL's compared to Sony.
C: UE Boom 3. I can hear the 360 sound that UE does with their cylinder-shaped speaker.
D: Sony XB30. I can some-what assure you D is the Sony, because I own the newer Sony XB41, and all of Sony's speakers focus a little more on treble, and C wasn't the XB30 because Sony started their Live Sound Mode on the newer model which sounds similar to what the UE sounded like. I can also hear a little more bass being pushed out of the D if you really listen. BTW, love your videos Willington! I watched your videos about the XB41 and decided I liked the sound and features so I got one for my Birthday! Thanks :D
