Verkada - GC31 WAN Failover Mode

Показать описание
Verkada GC31s offer a new mode where, instead of using their SIM 4G plans as the main way to backhaul to the Internet, they will use a wired WAN link (inserted in Port 2 - usually used for downstream devices). This mode is great for sites with existing wired connections, with either no existing redundancy or unreliable service.

🗒️ Key main points:

➡️ Port 2 of any GC31 gateway can be set up as a WAN port (instead of LAN)

➡️ If this is selected, and a live Internet connection is detected, the cellular gateway will always prioritise that; it it fails, the gateway will use its 4G plans as a backup
