Back when songs would take you on a journey, up hills, through valleys, around the block, down the alley, to the corner store and back to the mountain top and to the sky.

I love music like this. You can literally do anything, take a walk, catch up on some work, cook dinner, get drunk and high, anything while you're listening to this type of music.

Have to like the internet sometimes. I taped this off the radio back in the 80s. I had no idea what it was called. Was just now listening to some Khruangbin ("new" music to a 50-something) and youtube decided I might like this. Its taken 35 years to find! Until now I could only describe it as "A song that should have been on the Apocalypse Now soundtrack"

My brother would play this song over and over back in 1972 when he came home from Nam... he would open his room door and all this weed smoke would come rolling out over the top of the door... He would always tell me make sure I was cool...

Eu tinha 12 anos. É uma sinalização de caráter!

It's a hint of The Doors -The End, Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan, coupled with a slight Santana feel flowing through a deep psychedelic funk undercurrent.

I must thank Mr. Robot for introducing me to this absolute gem of a song.

This song, that I discovered on Spotify, is 1 of only 2 songs that have the ability to relax and silence everyone in the room where it's played. I have seen this happen with roughly 20 people who were all in different conversations, loudly. Just 2 minutes of this and it had become quiet.

This feels like heist music when the protagonist is gathering up the team.

Still holds up beautifully after all these years. That's the test of a true classic .

That's just amazing to hear that certain drum fills in this song Will be totally used in 90's hip hop/break music. That piece of art is above of its times by far

Absolutely beautiful afro-caribbean-funk-rock musical experience! In the 70' musicians didn't care that much to genre definitions, they just wanted to play what they liked to, and many times did it so well!!!

Thank you Daddy.... You always used to bump this and Bra. When I got older I appreciated the composition of the song. The instrumentation and how it falls in place as the track builds. Damn... just pure I LOVE THIS RECORD NOW

This song is infectious! I remembered when this came out in '72 and I lost total control.
