Howl should be usable in wolf form and should be given a special howling werewolf animation as a cool easter egg. Imagine how badass it would be to make enemies scatter in fear as a werewolf. 🐺

Was running terrorized Mephisto (hoping for a shako that refuses to show up) when this dropped, i've never seen it before so initially was cofused what on earth it was meant to be - didn't have time to think about it as I wanted to squeeze TZ runs in. Came back to it in my stash afterwards and found myself here - what a strange little hat lol. It actually rolled quite nicely by looks, +3 Warcries / +6 Feral Rage / +5 Lycanthropy / +3 Werewolf. The +stats were 14/8/8 which isn't great - but they aren't really a deal breaker. (Didn't get my shako, but did get Tals Armor, Vampires Gaze, Verdungos, Halaberds Reign, which was a nice consolation i guess :P).

Found a very nice 3/6/6/5 the other day. With the upcoming changes to werewolf, where you will be able to use skills and spells while in it, I wonder if this will affect the Wolfhowl. If so, this could be actually a very interesting item in the future.

If I may add a suggestion to these types of videos, since you have access to the software anyway, I would prefer if you showcase the item with some average budget gear for melee or caster characters respectively, otherwise you say it works well but you can't even kill 1 mob. I imagine this build works pretty well though, it's a hard item to find so I never get a chance to try it. You said it yourself in one of the videos, skipping the build does not give you experience with it, so it's not a very good representation of the item if you don't have any gear that complements it.

You dont' have to optimize every build, I am just saying you could have a Duress on or Ravenfrost, the basic things you would expect on a budget melee characters and keep them for these videos.

I've been looking forever for one of these in single player and now I've finally found one and it rolled ok.

I'm so excited to remake a barb (my last one died recently) and take advantage of both Mark of the bear and Mark of the wolf from metamorphosis, beast and this visor

7:07 a good combo is the runeword "beast" gives you fanatism aura and lycanthropy and maybe "heart of the oak" to boost your life.

Maybe this works on a Frenzy barb? Charge up Feral Rage in wolf form, then switch back to human form and stack even more attack and move speed with frenzy?

Should be able to use barb skills or add it to the cool but not so useful items.

With D2R actively making patches, I'm hoping for a fix for this: maxed variables except for Warcries and Enhanced Defense (at least reduce the stats to 12-15). As it stands, a perfect Wolfhowl is less than a 1 in 2m.

I found one today 2/3/6/5 😑 kinda high level for such a weird item.

I have a off topic question, I found a 2 pally 20 fcr, +8 max damage 12 are and +13 resist. Is that worth keeping? I don't know anything about a pally. I play a sorc

Fun helmet. Just found one, 374 def +3warcry +6FeralRage +3Lycan +4Werewolf. I'll hold on to it and try my doggie Barb at some point.

This item could be so cool if you could use barb skills still like double swing or leap attack....I would love a maxed out leaping werewolf that could use shouts.
Also, why are most charges on items such garbage? I know for example on Crescent moon, the spirit wolf charges have 71 life without synergy. How is that even remotely useful?
