CatDog Theme [Early Pitch Demo] - Peter Hannan

Hello! I present to you a very special piece of audio.

In various interviews with Peter Hannan [Artist and creator of CatDog], he has mentioned that CatDog never had an actual pitch bible, and was near entirely sold on an early version of the theme song he recorded himself that got passed around inside Nickelodeon. This version of the theme song was available on Peter's old website, but after it had been revamped a while ago [possibly around 2011-2012] the link to the song was removed and it had not resurfaced since.

After coming across an old CatDog fansite [link below] that had luckily archived the original file for download, here is the full [or at least a large snippet of] the original CatDog theme demo recorded by Peter Hannan in the mid 90's! I have decided to upload the song to Youtube for more to see and listen, while politely giving credit where its due to the sources where it was found, please enjoy! :0)

"Here we've included harder-to-find, in fact, until now, IMPOSSIBLE to find recordings: the "CatDog Theme Song" demo, recorded on an Apple Power Book in Peter Hannan's basement studio/dungeon in Chicago in late 1995[...]"
it was posted as a flash .swf along w/ the demo for one of the movie songs. was really bummed out when he revamped the site in 2012 to make it a generic Tumblr page x)

I keep hearing that CatDog only rememberable part was it’s theme song, so that info on it being nearly being picked up, because of it and how it was just a little ditty in the creator head that people in the studio thought it was funny, explains everything

I think that, to avoid wasting the music, they could have used it as credits music, right? I think it would have been a good idea, the music matched the cartoon credits. Well, at least it was good to discover more things from one of my favorite cartoons and my favorite NickToon.
