I purchased the TSN-553 and was quite impressed with it. The one reservation I had was Kowa permanently attaching their mid-range zoom eyepiece. The field of view was adequate, but at about 2/3 up the zoom range you started losing sharpness and got softer edges. I just ordered the TSN-55A.
