A friend was injured in a bicycle accident in their neighborhood, he enthusiastically told me how these people arrived immediately and treated him in a warm and humane way. Respect for them.

I am a born again Christian. I went to the Jewish center near me for counseling and they were so warm and welcoming to me and put me in the group counseling and didn't even charge me. Jewish people are good people.

Look at the kids they are just playing outside like it’s the 90s. No fear of danger for these kids. Respect.

This was so interesting. I’ve never seen a documentary of Jewish people sharing their day to day activities and talking about their culture. I learned many new things. Shloime did an excellent job.

Shloime's narrative is excellent- not only is he relatable, he breaks everything down in a way anyone can understand, and humanizes a society that has been shrouded in mystery. I would love to live there.

I LIVE THERE! So, excited lol! And I’m MUSLIM! The HASIDIC JEWISH people are very nice! I love going to their restaurants and bakery. They always get happy to see me. Love their bread (challah) and pizza.

I was a child Russian immigrant with my family to the States in the early 90s. My step dad was Jewish (he is dead now so past tense) ...The Jewish community was very warm and helpful to us and I went to their school and started learning the language until I was transferred. Deeply spiritual people that I respect.

As a New Yorker, I grew up in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood. My family is Muslim and they were plenty of other Muslims in the area. We all lived in peace. No one disturbed anyone. The orthodox Jews do not talk to anyone but their own kind and we respected that. I believe we all come from the same Abrahamic religions and we have never passed any judgments on them. Jewish folks are very polite folks!

Jews and Muslims have a ton of similarities where we don’t drink alcohol, date & marriage, not eat pork, ham, eat kosher/halal, etc. (Of course not exactly the same, but more similar than different.) I believe if we respect everyone and their religion there will never be conflict. The point is that we need to respect each other’s beliefs and leave judgment to God. Overall, this video was informative as it dives into the depth of their religion and culture. It was very interesting and I enjoyed it.

Here’s to wishing we could all be in peace around the world. Peace and love to all. Thanks for sharing!

This is what proper journalism looks like. We need more journalists like Peter. He literally gives you a tiny snippet of there lifestyle and it completely shifts people's perspective on them. The sensationalist media loves to hold onto this terrible narrative of them searching for every isolated incident that can make them look bad. I've been to Vegas many times at CES convention with Hassidim and they we're the nicest people to deal with. They provided free meals, lavish meals. They have so many community organizations for sick people, for grieving people, for infertility treatment subsidies, food drives, paramedic and patrol volunteers, you name a communal need and they have a service for it. Charity is a major value of the ultra orthodox community and is actually a law in Judaism to give at least 10% of income to charity.

I'm just seeing this today, January 8, 2023. I am very far from Hassidic but I am a Jew. I LOVE what you are showing here. I've always known Hasidic Jews are great people with a great community. Continue your great work showing the community properly. Shlome is terrific showing off the community and his family. And you Peter, are so open and receptive - beautiful thing you are doing.
