I'm just thinking - it always happens in an isolated place where one person has to face the demons alone because there's no one there to rescue them. But what if we flip it...? What if someone wrote a horror movie that takes place somewhere crowded and open where everyone can see something bad happening but for whatever reason no one can or no one wants to stop it? Just an idea.

I honestly thought, by the name, it was going to be more the caregiver slowely gets older as the woman gets younger, taking her youth.

I've watched a movie similar to this (or maybe this was that movie) years and years ago. Caretaker girl and doctor guy will be replaced by the old woman and old man of the house. Their soul will interchange and in the end the old man and woman (with the younger pair souls) will be admitted in the crazy house while the younger man and woman (with the old pair souls) will live a new life. The creepy sightings and stuff is done to make the younger pair believe in voodoo magic (cause that's needed for the soul transfer to work). 😑

Horror is the only genre which has not evolved much and we still watch horror movies in the same template as we used to 40 years back.

I usually don’t give movie reviews but this was so bad I had to. From the very beginning she takes a job in the middle of nowhere with strangers. Her mom doesn’t know where she is. Immediately the guy who hired her is “gone” home with his family without any explanation or instructions. Then she sees him late at night with her phone instead of confronting him she runs into the room hops in bed and pull the covers over her head like a child. The next morning she tells the old lady who is supposed to have dementia what happened and she says no he doesn’t have your phone that didn’t happen and she’s okay with that never questions it again or finds her phone . Anyone with sense would have gotten on the house phone in the hall and called for someone to come and get them but nope not her. After this it just gets worse and worse. My 6 year old could’ve came up with a more believable story. 🚮 🗑️

Most of them are trolls who think it's funny to write stupid "reviews" to get attention. If you want to know if a movie is good or bad you MUST watch it and decide that by yourself. Don't let others tell you what to watch or if something is bad or good. All we have different tastes and who knows? This movie could be good enough for you.
