I love Kurdish people and I hope someday they will have their natural right of having their own country which they can call home for real. Love and respect from 🇦🇪

I'm from the UK, London and I have been in Erbil for almost a year and a half. I can confirm that it is very safe here and the people are very friendly and welcoming. The food is good, the weather is hot in summer and chilly in winter. It's much more modern than I had expected, lots of American - style shopping malls and colourful electric light buildings. It is a very historic place, the Citadel is ancient, huge and well worth a visit. It is a very nice place to be! Come to Kurdistan!!! 👍

Hello Khalid!

I am a muslim kurdish mechanical engineer born and raised in Sweden, originally from Erbil.

I have been fortunate to travel around the world (europe, asia, africa etc)

I just want to salute you for being a pure hearted human being, and that I would love to meet you someday soon when I come to the emirates.

I want to start projects in opening up technical kindergartens in Kurdistan, and I would love to have you in the journey.

If anyone likes this idea, then please like the comment so Khalid can see this.

Much love to you and Salama.

Best regards,

Omar Ahmed

Kurdistan has been my home for more than 8 years. I'm outside the country at the moment, and your video made me super homesick. Grateful that you found the people as beautiful as I do.

What a beautiful, fascinating part of the world. So diverse, so rich in history and culture. I will never forget those car rides and Baderkhan’s epic contagious laugh 😂 ❤️

Thank you for sharing your journey to Kurdistan. When I moved to San Diego in '99 I had to find a daycare for my one year old son. I was blessed to find an in home daycare and the family was Kurdish. They took great care of my son and all the kids they watched. I loved my son's daycare provider like she was my own family. Even her husband and their kids would help out when they came home from school and work.

This is one of the most useful and important videos you 've uploaded. Often people choose to ignore such regions and go for all the bling..but getting up close with different communities no matter how remote is a crucial task. Thank you for helping us witness such a diverse society!
