Rewatching this in November and loving the sights and sounds of your garden.

These seem to be pretty darned easy to grow. I put some out only last fall & I already have them popping up all over the place- & that's in the woods. Not even out in the open, like I see on most of these channels. That, geraniums, wild mermaid, stickywilly, trout Lily & some mixed grasses is pretty much everything I've been seeing out there, so far.

Awesome was really trying to find the info of when to collect the seeds and when to plant. There’s an area near me where these grow but it’s densely populated by creeping bellflower an invasive that everyone nearby has in there yard. So I was gonna start ripping out the bell flowers to eat and start planting natives in their place.

Thanks for the vid. Nodding onion & prairie onion are some of my favorite native plants here in Illinois. They're like little fireworks of color popping up wherever they're growing. I'm going to try to get them growing in my garden next year.

I planted a few 2 years ago. Boy, I wish I had gotten more! I love the NODDING part; like my nodding trillium and native Columbine. Unique flowers to spice things up.

This video is so helpful. You ROCK!!!! Thank you. I'm looking for browse resistant plants to put around my trees in a sea of mice, kangaroo rats, chipmunks, rabbits, deer and ? I will definitely try to plant this.

I bought one of these on clearance last Fall and can’t wait to see it come up (Mn/zone 4). Do you know if rabbits like it?

Just stumbled upon your channel. Really well done video. I started some nodding onion from seed last year. Eagerly awaiting to see if they come back this year 🤞

Could you please do a video showing the bulb of this plant? So we can better decipher between other wild onions/wild garlics.

So happy to have found your channel - I'm a fellow native plant lover and have some nodding onion seedlings that I'm looking to plant soon. Question for you: does the foliage fade and look messy/need to be trimmed like other ornamental onions/allium, or does it stay green and sedge-like all season? Also, I think I'm going to have to plant mine in drier spots (a part shade and possibly a more sunny spot) - I've read that they like more moist conditions - think they'll be okay? Thanks so much for the video and any additional tips you can offer!

Thank you so much for this! This is a native plant that we have in common! Where do you keep your seedlings while you're kind of holding them for a year? A cell tray indoors? Maybe a greenhouse? Or sheltered area outside?

Thank you for this video. I am curious about the blooms…when do they start blooming? And how long do they bloom for? Thank you

I planted my first clump last month. Will the clump get larger over the years? Also, have you ever divided it?

Native to? Sorry if I missed it. Is she from Ontario? Or are these native to Canada, in general?
