Multi Level Protection Scheme: Grading and Registration

Показать описание
The Multi-Level Protection Scheme 2.0 (MLPS 2.0) is part of the Chinese Cyber Security Law (CSL). It is a set of regulations on organizational and technical measures to ensure basic security of IT systems in China. Under the MLPS 2.0, companies are categorized into one of five security levels based on the size and complexity of their data-processing systems, as well as the type and volume of data they process, for which different requirements apply.
The MLPS 2.0 applies to companies in all industries and is not limited to Internet or IT companies. More and more foreign companies are aware of the importance of the MLPS 2.0, but do not know how to implement the MLPS 2.0 in practice due to the complexity of MLPS-related regulations and also the language barrier - many regulations and standards are only available in Chinese.
There are five steps to implementing the MLPS 2.0 in the enterprise. In this webinar, we will provide information on the first two steps, system classification and registration with the Public Security Bureau, covering the following topics:
- Identifying information systems relevant to the MLPS 2.0
- Preliminary classification of the information systems
- Procedure of external expert evaluation
- Preparation of the necessary documents for registration
- Certificate classification
