Rome Italy - Roma Termini at Night. How Safe is it?

I have visited and stayed in Rome a countless amount of times. These walking tours bring back so many good memories. I usually stay somewhere near the Esquiline Hill. I have walked alone around Termini at 1 AM many times and have never felt be cautious as you would in any large city!!!!

Much much safer than many. For example, NYC which is a horror show. Sadly though not as safe as it was about 10 years ago, and it's getting worse.
