Good lord, that's a CHONKY boy. That's going to look absolutely stunning in about 5 years. Great starting point.

I need to go out and get some wisteria to try for my next bonsai. It grows wild everywhere here in Alabama and Georgia.

I was a 'play in the mud' kid, I never even considered how offputting an unexpected slug grab could be for other people. 😰

I like how rootbound plants have their own category

SLUGS ARE GREAT!!! Love the fact they don't bite! The remind me Ive never been so screwed for protein by my nation's high taxes that I've needed to sautee them with garlic for dinner! 😂

A vibrating table top would be ideal for new potting substrate placement.

How old is this specimen?

Subbed🔥

I love wisteria it was planted 30 years ago from seeds my grandpa broughht up from florida along with some bulbs and cuttings, all are still alive to this day and i cherish them greatly. I would love to do this as i have a ton of wisteria pods ripening and will be catching seeds soon!!

Be careful the pup doesnt eat the seed pods they are poisonous for dogs!

Nice video! What kind of pots do you use? I use the thin pond baskets but they break quite fast. The kind you use seem more durable :)
