The Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, along with friends and associates, we created a video - seal of our promise that we will return. We held, digitally also, the theatre light on!
Tasos Nousias and Constantinos Chatzis directed monumental greek texts (Euripides, Hesiod, Sophocles, Aeschylus, Chimonas, Liantinis). Our companions in this endeavour were important representatives of the Art of Theatre: Roubini Vasilakopoulou, Lydia Koniordou, Kostas Kourtaras, Nikos Manessis, Alexandra Palaiologou, Alkistis Poulopoulou. In this way, we send out a message about the power of Art. A message addressed to the whole world, from Greece, the country where Theatre was born.
