How to repair a plastic part! #shorts

Trabajo mucho con cianocrilato y bicarbonato.
Desde que lo descubrí se lo enseño a todo el que me quiere escuchar. Los resultados superan mis expectativas la mayoría de las veces.
Cuando la situación es tan difícil como la del vídeo intento reforzar la pieza con pequeños trozos de alambre, vástagos y todo lo que se me ocurre.
He arreglado piezas inverosímiles y sobre todo piezas cuya reparación no es posible de ningún otro modo.
Os animo a probar este método y a experimentar con otros aglomerantes. Casi todos funcionan. No probéis con sal.

Super glue a small washer over the hole, quicker and less work and just as effective.

Very good; should have imbedded small copper wires first, forming a circle, with a soldering iron, if forces will be involved there;
I epair laptops and the case, the screw posts, and the hinges i repair similarly; it stays stronger than the original; i do overdo it, where it is feasible; the cianoacrilate + baking soda is amazing; sometimes i reinforce the repair with a small net or with small copper wires where needed and possible.

I did this with the control switch for a heater in a van and it worked like a dream

For 60 $, you can buy a plastic welder that comes with everything you need. I use it as a mechanic, and around the house, it paid for itself in the 1st week.

This is a common technique. The baking soda causes the super glue to kick off a thermogenic reaction. Be careful, it can get very hot on the fingers.

I use cigarette ash mixed with super glue. The best ca glue is the cheap ones from harbor freight.

How about using styrofoam instead of baking soda

Will probably hold but a 3d printer could make that whole part in less than 30min
